ATBIZ Slide Plastic Chair & Bar Chair Collection FY-830A/FY-830B

The Slide chair and bar chair represent a new approach to furniture construction. This knockdown collection consists of multiple smaller components that significantly reduce shipping carton size.

Inspired by the continuous, fluid movement of sliding down a playground slide, the design features three wide slats that run from the top to the front, creating the impression of uninterrupted movement. Although the pieces are separate, they come together to form a complete chair. The metal frame is also made in two pieces, and everything is bolted together through the seat.

Two small covers hide the seat fasteners and can be specified in an accent colour, giving the chair a distinctive two-tone style. The second colour further emphasizes the flowing design. Open spaces in the backrest help drain water, making the chair suitable for outdoor use. They also provide convenient gripping points for moving and stacking.

The Slide chair won the 2025 Good Design Award. Its simple, classic overall form and three distinctive slats create a fresh and unusual design.
